ISO 로봇 분야 국제표준

International Organization for Standardization

1947년 설립된 세계 최대 규모의 국제표준 제정단체로 172개국의 대표들이 참석하고 있으며 기술 및 사업의 전분야에 결쳐 25,571종에 이르는 국제표준을 제정하여 관리.
우리나라는 1963년 Member body 가입 후 정회원 활동 중
ISO는 산업분야별로 크게 기술위원회(Technical Committee. TC)구분을 하고 그 아래 세부 분야별 분과위원회(Sub-Committee. SC)를 두며,
실질적인 표준개발은 각 분야별 WG(Working Group)에서 작업
로봇 관련 표준화 활동은 ISO/TC 299(Robotics)에서 활동
TC 299(Robotics)는 본래 ISO/TC 184(lndustrial Automation Systems and integration) SC 2(Robot and Robotic Devices)로 활동하다가,
2016년 SC에서 TC로 승격됨
TC 299(Robotics)는 현재 10개의 WG와 IEC와 1개의 JWG(Joint Working Group)에서 활동 중
ISO/TC 299는 IEC/TCs 와의 Liaisons 연계활동으로 표준개발 과정 공유
